Colorless or light yellow liquid with slight smoke.Having strong reductivity,it can be oxidized into element bromine by oxygen and other oxidants in the air.Specific gravity 1.577(50%),≥1.48(48%).Melting point:-87ºc(anhydrous),It is soluble in water,alcohol anhydrous and chlorobenzene.Its color will change when being placed in sunlight long enough.It is strongly corrosive.
Usage:
