Application:
BEP-2 is a high molecular weight brominated epoxy polymeric flame retardant designed for a broad range of thermoplastic applications.
BEP-2 is recommended for thermoplastic polyesters (PBT, PET), thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), alloys (e.g. PC/ABS), styrenics (ABS, HIPS) and others.
The specially selected molecular weight and the chemical structure of BEP-2 offer the following advantages:
- High thermal stability and thermal ageing
- Excellent processability
- Non-blooming
- Good UV stability
BEP-2offers a similar combination of properties to that of BEP-2 for those applications where higher melt flow (MFI) values are required.
